I just apply any good cream from the bag balm to right now I am applying Dr. Scholls cream for dry and cracked skin. That seems to feel the best for me. And it's good for applying during the day as it absorbs into your skin, unlike the balm's which are good for at night when you can cover your feet/hands.

Hope - I have been on Xeloda since last November and right now I am having a Pet scan done tomorrow (Monday) as my MRI from a week ago showed an area in my liver that looks suspicious. I will see my onc. on Friday to determine results. I had liver mets for 1 1/2 years without it going anyplace else and have beed NED since September of last year when I had the abalation procedure done to the one tumor that I had in liver. All I can say is that I feel that these chemos along with the Herceptin must be slowing them down. And it seems to want to pop up in my liver. I am grateful that so far we have not seen any spread anyplace else. I will know more on Friday. Everyone is different, so keep up the faith. We just have to keep trying different chemos until we find the right one for our bodies. Hopefully, research will continue finding new treatments for us all and they are coming up with new stuff continually.

I am an 8 1/2 year survivor and even though I have had several recurrences, I am still enjoying my life to the fullest. I just try the next treatment on the protocol and pray for the best.

Good luck to you.

Irene
