I did have weekly Herceptin/Navelbine for the first recurrence and am assuming that whatever we decide on will be weekly again, you're right about it being easier. I'll find out after the PET and MRI next week, and will let everyone know.

I am in total agreement, it's terribly exciting! I hope I "pass" the scanning process, and then it will be a good feeling to know I'm helping determine if this vaccine is actually going to be another weapon in the arsenal against Her2+ cancer, and if becomes availabe in the clinical setting I will feel REALLY great!

Hope you do too. I found this trial last year and had traded several emails with Andrea. Unfortunately, I found liver mets and could not participate. Am NED again, but just going through reconstructive surgery. I steered Andrea toward this site and posted the original information. She is a great person and we keep in touch. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
