COX 2

I re-read the article and found that Cox 2 inhibitors may be beneficial for those with high levels of the Cox 2 enzyme. Thought leaders currently state that you should not ask for Cox 2 inhibitors until they have been studied more thoroughly for this. Current findings showed that women with higher levels of the Cox enzyme did not survive as long as women with lower levels of the enzyme in BC. Sorry for the mix up.

Carlye. I don't know if they go hand in hand, it was just general bc. Did the link not come up? I don't know how to test for Cox2 in your body, but there probably is some kind of test. Onc's are prescribing Vioxx etc for our pain with Neuropathy and I haven't read anyone getting a test to see where there levels are. Sorry, I will try and look into it more later today. I am glad the shoulder pain and everything came back clean. Must be a great relief. I see Dr. Chang on Tues. We are leaving Monday. Hope it goes well.
