Thanks Everyone for you feedback on my port. I read your responses before I scooted out of town. I felt a lot better...knowing my port was probably very normal. The bandages came off Sunday and besides the bruising, it looks good.

Yes, it does protude and probably always will, but small price to pay for the "convenience".
