I don't know much about this, but I do know that a number of research leaders (Susan Love, Hal Burstein at Dana Farber and others) have expressed interest in what they call "metronomic" dosing--lower doses, fairly constantly. If I understand right, it's kind of an extension of the dose-dense concept...
