I was diagnosed with Liver/bone mets in early Feb. 04. I have been on Navelbine/Herceptin and Xeloda.

I just got the results of my last scan in. Two of the 3 spots on my vertabrae are gone! The third is slightly decreased in size.

Half the tumors on my liver are gone! The rest showed "marked decrease in size".

This is great news. When I was diagnosed, my liver was completely covered in tumors, my skin was yellow, and my liver was starting to fail. My onc said that without treatment I had about 2 months left. He was really worried that the treatment wouldn't help me sufficiently.

Now, my energy is great, I feel great, I was water-skiing all summer, and I'm about to leave for a 12 day Hawaii cruise on Sept 22!

I'm taking Yoga classes, and fulfilled a childhood dream of mine, I began beginning ballet lessons.

Feels good to still be here...taking it one day at a time. I gain alot of strength and hope reading some of your stories.

Esther

Great report!! Happy to hear you are feeling well enough to go on your Hawiian cruise. Enjoy the water and the flowers. I've yet to visit the Hawiian islands. Take pictures and bring them in Oct to our gathering. Hugs, Christine
