I wish I could help, but my onc. didn't use tumor markers. Please tell Lisa we love her. Got her email and will respond asap. Busy with grandkids today.

Hugs

CEA can be influenced by any inflamation going on in her body, such as a sinus infection, flu,and possibly side effects to radiation. Chech her temperature, and ask the onc to do a CBC to check for infection. Ask Lisa her trouble spots, she may find it on her own.
If the other markers are fine and all her blood chemistry's are normal, then it's probably a side effect of WBR. If her temperature goes up, call the Radiation Oncologist for his opinion. The regular Onc's are not the experts with brain radiation. I'm speaking from my experience; and his reponse leads me to support my opinion. I'm sure in time she will regain her strength as long as she can stay well enough to drink energy drinks and eat frequent meals or snacks.
