I REALLY APPRECIATE the feedback. It's a minor annoyance, but something I don't want nevertheless. I'll continue to use the Bactroban and I think I stopped using it too soon when I first got this as the sore/irritation disappeared so quickly.

I'll keep washing my hands and I do use a clean Q-tip with every application. Meg, you metioned being really clean. Do you do other things? I'm doing well and going for my flu shot today and to get my Synthroid renewal. Soon, I'll be posting a photo without my frog hat.
