Question re newly approved test for monitoring bc mets

The FDA recently approved the CellSearch test for monitorin bc mets BUT it is only available in very few places and is in clinical trials. I don't get it. If it has been FDA approved how can they be allowed to deny it to more of us?
I have my thoughts on it but that doesn't explain it.

We have contacted Veridex, who is the developer of this new test. As soon as they have their patient advocacy department organized we will be able to provide more information.

We are currently developing a new look for our website. One of our new features will be a page where we will spotlight a new technology or test each month.

I would suggest anyone interested in this test should question their oncologist about it.
