Experiences with Doxil??

I know someone mentioned doxil recently but I can't remember the post. I think my onc wants to start me on it this Thurs. In light of my recent cardiac event, I am concerned about that side effect as well as others. For anyone on it, what dosage are you on and did it have to be adjusted?

I am on Doxil. I am due for my 6th treatment in 2 weeks. I am doing well on it. It's hard for the first week, but then eases up. Mostly chills and body aches. I am also on Herceptin with it and they are monitoring my heart closely. My last Echo was 45% which is kind of low. It was hanging in around 50-55% which is OK for being on Herceptin. The last time I saw my onco he mentioned lowering the dose of Doxil because I was having chest tightness. I also get mouth sores and I had hand/foot syndrome once with the Doxil. But, the good news is you won't lose all your hair. I am thinning, but far from bald!
