To Lolly and others on Herceptin/Taxol/Carboplatin, I seem to have stalled at 22 weeks, so if I am unlucky enough that when I have MRI and still some lump remaining what next? I have had the maximum radiation, do you girls think I should ask for another biopsy with pathology because the biopsy said I had similar cells to the original site and it took so long for this to get big so would seem it is not an agressive one just a pain in the neck...which is still numb from the ear to the adams apple area, not that I have an adam's apple... Only neck involvement that I know of.

Hi Lyn,
I was wondering how long it's been since you had Navelbine; when I went on it for the second time this spring, my onc said if it's been more than a year since using a particular chemo sometimes they'll try it again and have good results...it worked again for me, and I was surprised because I thought I'd be resistant to it. Talk to your onc about which chemos would fall into this category, especially since it seems to be slow-moving.

Love, Lolly

Hi Lolly, it would be 12 months this month, I stopped when I had heart failure last year and started Aromasin with the Herceptin and then added the carbo and dropped the aromasin and when it also stalled added the taxol but this last bit is like shifting those extra pounds so I was wondering if the Navelbine could be added along with the other trio??? Not much use asking my onc he is taking our lead anyway I just need the bullets to fire at him so he can load the gun so to speak. Thanks for the virus checker as well, I ended up getting a new tower and hard drive which is brilliant and quick now.

Love & big hugs Lyn
