Lyn's memorial fund closing July 8

Friends,
To date, thanks to your generosity, we have raised $1,775 to help Lyn's family with funeral/medical expenses. I would like to see us send her brother at least $2,000. If you are able, please send me your check before July 8. I will be wiring the money to Australia the following week.

Love and light,

Lisa

Lyn's memorial fund

Dear Lisa, This is Lyn's sister Dawn I just went on your site and got a real surprise to find out how much has been raised, this will help the family out so much as they are struggling. We the family are trying to help them as much as possible as well. Lyn's daughter Casey had her year 12 formal on Friday night she looked absolutley beautiful it was such a shame that Lyn wasn't there to see her she was so looking forward to it, I am sure she was watching over her anyway, it has been very hard for us all as you all know what a wonderful lady Lyn was, I hoped you like the pictures of her dolly room there are a lot of dolls that were'nt in the pictures. Anyway Hugs and Kisses to you all. A really big Thank You from all the family and when Casey can I am sure she will reply as well. Thank You again Dawn

My mother lyn

you may not know me but i am lyn's daughter. my dad and I would like to thank every one for there generosity and loving thought its just amazing how much people care. My mum was deffinatly a special women. I have read some of the emails that people have written about my mother and they are all lovely comments. once again we are very greatful. I know that my mum will be dearly missed by alot of people but at least now she is in no more pain as she wouldnt be able to bear it for much longer, she tried so hard to beat this dease but in the end it had its way. But without the strength and determination she wouldnt have been able to last as long as she did, it just shows what both those things can do. But i think that my mother would have only wanted one thing out of this, and that would be to touch the lives of others, give them the strength that she had and to fight on, and if my mother has done that much i know she has served a purpose in life, as she always helped others. I am very proud of my mother. If you like i could send a more recent photo of my mother and me when we were on our holiday in feb?

and as my mother would say "hugs and kisses, lyn"

take care

Wink We would LOVE a pic of you and Mum Lyn

Casey -
That is such a sweet message that you have taken the time to write.
You are right on as to your Mum's mission in life after getting cancer. But, do not forget that she always spoke about giving her ALL for her family and wanting to be there for them and to see them grow and mature in life.
Just remember - she will be watching over you.

Casey,

Your mom was a role model and a tower of strength for all the survivors everywhere. I also want to wish you and your family strength during the times of emptness and sadness that lay ahead; knowing that your mom's strength and determination is carried like a torch by the sisters on this site.

Al

How did everything come out?
Did we hit the target of $2,000?

How are you feeling this week??
