Hi Sandy. Thanks for asking. Everything is calm for the moment. I must admit it took me a while to settle myself down after that fiasco. Mom seems OK right now, and I am taking out my notes and calendar, to make sure our plan is still on track. I literally lost my bearings, so to speak, after the scare. The one good thing is that I now have a current PET, bone, and CT scan to use for further surveillance. I think she may be coming up on her next MUGA as well, as time went by quickly during the crisis.

That whole mess took a lot out of me, and I was really crushed by Linda's loss. It hit me hard, as I felt that I knew her and Al personally. God Bless both their souls for helping us all so much. I hope I might meet Al someday if I can get away.

I have decided to increase Mom's dosage of resveratrol after reading some more promising research. I am also considering increasing her IP-6, as it seems to show promise in boosting the immune system and inhibiting PI3K. I am looking for a source of d-limonene. I beleive the Vitamin Shoppe can order it. I have to look. I didn't mention that I have doubled the amount of green tea I use in the brew to 24 bags per batch, approx. 2 gallons. I am of the opinion that you really can't consume too much green tea, as long as it is naturally decaffeinated.

Take Care,
Tom

Tom,

I'm glad to hear things are calm for you right at the moment. What an awesome son you are!

Might I ask what dosage your Mom is on with the IP6 and Reservatrol?

Blessings ^0^

Thanks Deborah.

I have been giving Mom a version called Cell Forte, which contains 800 mg of IP-6 (inositol hexaphosphate), and 220 mg of inositol. I will now give two of those daily as opposed to one, and will double the resveratrol from 20 mg daily to 40 mg daily. As always, I try to give Mom foods that naturally provide the same substances. IP-6 is found in brown rice bran, and resveratrol is found in red and purple grape skins.

Tom

P.S. Deborah, I forgot to mention that the resveratrol I use from www.LEF.org, also contains 120 mg of quercetin per capsule.

Dear Tom,

I am glad to hear that things have calmed down a bit. Your choice for suppliments is a good one, the same as I used plus I also use iherb.com at http://www.papanature.com/store/ and http://www.antiaging-systems.com/

Thank you for your kind words. I feel that Linda's spirit resides in many of us although it is unimaginable how much I really miss her. I would be honoured to meet you at some time. I do some travelling with business; where do you live?

Good luck and I think you are on the right track,
Al
