Will Tykerb work for you ???

We have just received some information that a laboratory is developing a test that determines if Tykerb will be effective as a treatment for you.

The test will be opening up for clinical trials in the near future. We will post more details as they become available.

Warmest Regards
Joe

To Joe

Please keep us posted on this. I am very interested(as I am sure everyone else is also) I was almost accepted on a Tykerb Trial in my area, but I had to get back on Herceptin and fail in order to be accepted. If the combo I just started fails, I may have to go to the trial (if still avail) but this test your are talking about would even open more doors.

Thank you Joe for all that you do.

Joe, do you think the new trials will be for stage 4 or will it be adjuvant?

Michele,

This is only a diagnostic test to determine if you are a candidate for Tykerb.

Sassy,

I believe the two year study was the HERA study. It that is the study that you are referring to, the results would probably be released at some European BC meeting.

Joe

I thought that the results of the HERA trial were to be released in December at the ASCO meeting.
