Yes, it's my BIRTHDAY on Saturday! I'll be 52, and I'm thrilled! Given that when I was diagnosed at 45 I doubted I'd make it to 50. HA, take THAT, cancer!!!!!!

Yes, birthdays DO take on a curious new meaning for those of us with a life threatening disease.
But, then again, sometimes when I get home safely off the road after some dufus nearly collided with me, I have the SAME feeling ...
Just make sure you don't scorch your ceiling from all the candles on your cake!
