I wish I could say I had good news but that is not the case. I had to be admitted to the hospital mid January because of increasing breathing problems and fluid around the heart. They tapped the fluid off and then did another bronchoscopy and did find that the thing in my lung is malignant. It is very extensive now and the pulmonary guy was not encouraging in terms of time.
I am now on navelbine and herceptin, oxygen dependent and home alot. I did manage the other day to do some driving and a few errands and it was like being let out of jail.
I have a very complex set of breathing treatments, on prednisone, inhalers, breathing pills etc.
I have switched oncs to someone close to the house and doing my best to keep fighting. As you know it is a rough road. And it has taken almost 10 months for the docs to finally figure this one out.
Thanks for asking. I know you are doing battle too but I am so glad that at least your lung process is not malignant.
With hugs,
Rose
