hi i'm new here. just found your website tonight and was thrilled. i am 38, stage II, 3 positive lymph nodes, no mets. Her2 positive, ER and PR negative. Had a lumpectomy, chemo with A/C and then taxotere and just finished radiation. I've had 3 Herceptin treatments. I'm at a loss of where to go from here. I feel like i've been shuffled from doctor to doctor and told what to do and now am on my own. Of course I will still be doing herceptin treatments, but am so scared of recurrence or mets now.

Hi there, I think we're all scared on here. I'm new also. I'm not even sure if my responses are being posted. If you get this my email is FisherRN2B@aol.com

I have Instant Messaging as well using the same screen name. Hope to hear from you.

Hi Lori -
We have all found this site out of a necessity to communicate with other women in our same boat.
Are you going to be able to stay on the Herceptin for a while? If so, this will give you a better chance of avoiding metasteses.
A lot of us here have only gotten this marvelous drug when we became stage 4 with some kind of mets. You are fortunate to get it right after the standard treatments.
This disease is a cloud over our head at times, but we have to move it to let the sun shine through so we can keep on some semblence of normal life.
Just hang with us and and any time you have a question, just post it!
All best wishes.

When I found this site, I felt like my prayers were answered...so many of us with the same problems, treatments, but we all have a common bond, a sisterhood of sorts, and everyone here will help, listen, cheer you up and send prayers and hugs your way when you need them....it is natural to be scared of mets...none of us know what tomorrow will bring, live today, take each day as it comes, think positive and listen to your body!!
Hugs
