those who are er positive as well as her2 positive are NOT in the group most likely to recur. those who are er positive are LESS likely to recur than those who are not, because the er positive cancers are viewed as more "controllable" once you take away the growth factor (i.e., hormones).

so...you should be happy!!!

Don't you all think that her2+ ER NEGATIVE breast cancers are MORE popular than her2+ ER POSITIVE ones?

I am her2+, ER+ and possibly PR+. I am taking Femara & Zoladex to suppress my ovary functions, since I am premenopausal at diagnosis. (I'm 36 of age)

Additionally, I am taking Herceptin, supposedly up to 1 year. I am not stage 4. Next week, my onc & I will decide together whether to continue Herceptin indefinitely, after my year is up.
