very early stage & Herceptin

I have not been able to find a Herceptin clinical trail for very early stage 1 bc. I had a negative node and a her2+, er and pr negative tumor under 1cm. I guess my only recourse would be to find an oncologist willing to give Herceptin outside of a clinical trail. I wonder if that can be done and has anyone done this?

Also, any comments about Herceptin's potential cardiac risks . What % of the population have cardiac problems from Herceptin?

YOUR CASE SOUNDS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO MINE...WISH I HAD BEEN ABLE TO GET HERCEPTIN THEN, INSTEAD OF GOING TO STAGE IV IN A YEAR AND A HALF...IF YOU CAN GET IT, TAKE IT...IT CANT HURT AND COULD PREVENT METS!
