My sister has been receiving enhanced CT scans for her brain mets. Should she not be receiving MRI's? I'm wondering if this was the reason that her mets weren't seen in January, although she probably had some. The enhanced Scan has detected many small tumors. She completed WBR 3 months ago. Things have been looking good, but the last few days the dizzy spells, similar to what she experienced prior to brain met diagn. are back. She's currently visiting me here in Montreal. I want to take her to a private clinic for a MRI tomorrow. I don't want her to have to wait the 3 week period for an appointment through her doctor. I'm not sure if the clinic would have the 3.o telsa MR images. What could I ask for? I know I may be "jumping the gun", but I also think that it might be time for her to, at the very least, consult with a Gammaknife surgeon. Can anyone give me the name of one in this area?
