It's like the secret service here! It has taken me over 3 years to get shown CT's & a glance at reports. Wish I had been allowed this at start.
I now write down all info I can remember and take details of blood tests. I would love to be sent actual reports immediately - at same time as Consultant receives them.
I am fed up of having reports (bad or good) read out to me in middle of ward with everyone listening or in corridor to ward with joe public walking past. To me this is not very confidential or professional.
I have even been thinking of getting private scan done to avoid all the protocol!
I am obviously becoming a control freak - lol!
