Re: "Dear Every Patient I Ever Took Care of, I'm Sorry I Didn't Get It" Letter

Thank you for posting this Paula! I think it is beautifully written and so true. Before I was diagnosed I felt sympathy toward others going through this and would pray for them but no one can truly understand what it feels like when you are the one living it. I have had a friend who wasn't feeling well tell me she shouldn't even complain to me because I am dealing with much worse. I told her of course she can talk to me about anything bothering her, I don't want people I love to treat me differently because of this. I think though that if things were reversed I probably would feel same way that she is. I think Lindsay really expressed a lot of what I have been feeling. Just wanted to say I appreciated you posting this and also thanks to everyone on this forum, it has helped me emotionally and also helped to educate me on HER2

Re: "Dear Every Patient I Ever Took Care of, I'm Sorry I Didn't Get It" Letter

Everyone should read this beautiful letter from Paula. The letter covers all of the emotions, hopes, fears and the long list of treatments so many of us haves lived with or are currently living with! Thank you Paula. Please know that as a nurse you were fully appreciated by your patients. I am sure you did not let anyone down. You did get it as much as is humanly possible. All the best to you! Once again, I am reminded what a wonderful community we have on this site!
