Re: Anyone have digestive issues after treatment?

If you cannot find relief from mainstream medicine - try an acupuncturist. Diarrhea is "rebellious spleen qi" which is supposed to rise, not descend. The constipation was a disharmony in the stomach meridian. These organs are associated with the earth element.

Grief (losing Denise) affects the metal element and the organs associated with metal are the lungs and the large intestine. So the grief could also be causing a disharmony in your colon.

If you want to know more you can Google 5 Element or the 5 phases. I find it fascinating.

Back on the western front of medicine, when you tried all this fiber I hope you drank a lot of water. Adding fiber without adding enough liquids creates constipation. Ouch!

I had the opposite situation with Taxotere - I knew where every restroom was before I went anywhere, and I didn't eat if I wasn't going to be near one, lol! My issue was from low potassium - supplements restored the balance in just a day or two. Lucky for me I had a sharp nurse who did a CBC and figured it out.

Well you are going to the GI doc, who I suspect will order some additional tests - and you'll need a sense of humor for these, yikes!

I had a Pet done at the end of treatment. My doctors seemed to be more indulgent at keeping my peace of mind thankfully.

Since the trouble started after your recent biopsy and treatment - it might be related, or might not. I hope the GI doc came get it all sorted out for you.
