I am one happy girl!
I finished all my rads! Such a weight has been lifted off my shoulders this week. Now, time for my body to Finaly heal up after 8 months of some sort of treatment. Now herceptin only for Rest of time. Then summer time all healed up and will be ready for reconstruction and some type of tram flap surgery.
I am just soooo looking forward to start feeling stronger, my hair growing in and just feel healthy and work on enjoying my life....whew I didn't know if I was going to make it sometime but I did. 😀😀😀😀😀it's a good week

Re: I am one happy girl!
Congrats Linn65!
You have made it through the most difficult part. The Herceptin will be a walk in the park compared to chemo and radiation.
I had the TRAM with complications. Make sure to get 2 or more opinions. If you can find a plastic surgeon who has great success with DIEP reconstructions - that is a great alternative.
I believe the standard of care has changed with the choice of blood supply used since my reconstruction.
Find all the information you can, ask lots of questions, especially to the Her2 ladies who have had reconstruction.
WooHoo on finishing radiation!
