Re: more on risks associated with G-CSF and GM-CSF which support White blood cells wc

Ok...so mom has low wbc again. This after using Neupogen a couple times and deciding to extend time between Navelbine to 2 weeks. This time they will wait for a 3rd week to pass and recheck. I can see there are potential downsides to using boosters but...at what point is it prudent to give the chemo a fighting chance? Anyone ever heard anything to suggest that getting a knockdown in wbc means you are getting a higher effective dose? Or is it just an unfortunate side effect with no ties to efficacy? Getting concerned about what appears to be 1/2 to 1/3 the usual dosage.
