what chemo to chose?

Hello,
we have a friend with inflammatory bc, er-, pr-, her2+++ who has tried several chemos including tyberg but her cancer is still progressing. taxanes don't work or she's allergic, not sure which.
anyway the following chemos have been suggested:
Doxil (doxorubicin HCl liposome injection)or oral cyclophosphamide BRAND NAME: Cytoxan
however the most suggested was: Ixempra but she can't get it in France. Any ideas of how I can find out if she can get into a trial in the USA - she'll travel anywhere also how does that stack up to Herceptin with DM1 (not sure I've got it right).
You're advise will be greatly appreciated.
many thanks
hugs and love
sarah
We're very worried about her.

What about Herceptin again with Navelbine or Carboplatin....or a different Taxane with Avastin to cut the blood supply to the tumor...with Tykerb or Herceptin.

what chemo

Hi,
There might be a trial somewhere for the drug you are interested in. How about typing the name of the drug in your internet browser search box and see what you come up with. Also this website has some excellent clinical trial sources. Just click on Clinical Trials on the list at http://www.her2support.org.
Good luck
