typing problems

Have any of you been experiencing problems of not being able to make your font smaller or not bold? I tried clicking on the decrease size on the upper right as well as clicking on the "B" on the left and it still prohibits me from changing the type.
Very strange....maybe it is my brain malfunction on my part.

Having the same problems. I was really confused when I sent a private message apoligizing for the bold, large print and it came out normally.

Good you brought it up.

Yep, me too. Ever since the forum change. Like you two, while I'm typing it's bold but when I actually "post reply" it comes out normal.

I'm not having this problem. Everything seems the
same to me. But it always takes longer for things
to get to Canada - even problems

When I type, it shows up big and bold (the B is actually highlighted green and I can't turn it off). However, I don't use "Post Quick Reply" - I use "Go Advanced" instead and that allows me to change colors and size. However, I cannot edit my own words sometimes - it tells me I don't have that permission, so forgive me if there are often typo's!

Wow, thanks for posting this Harrie - I'm not the only one then. All of a sudden the font is larger and bold when I type, but the post is the "usual.'

Tricia - I've also had to log in a few times, even though I did not log out.

Small problems, but annoying.
Sorry Pink - I guess because I'm closer to the 49th parallel here, I'm getting the problems.

all the best

A few days ago, when I tried to log on to the site, a message came up that the site was down for a short time, due to upgrades. I had the same problem with the large, bold font when typing a post. I think that part of the change is intentional, that way it's easier to see what you are getting ready to post. I can't comment on the other issues, I don't use them.
