TCH or ACTH

Trying to figure what the latest is on chemo regimens. Been reading that AC is really hard on the heart. Will be seeing my oncologist on Wed. Hoping to be able to do TCH. Does it all depend on topo II testing positive? I am HER + er-pr-. Haven't even got pathology report yet. But I do know there was some node involvment. Most breast cancer books that I have gotten are from 2006. Even online, seems most studies are from 2006-07. Was sort of wondering, if maybe most onc were leaning towards giving TCH to most Her 2 patients?

I started out act with one onc, but when I switched oncs I didn't want act so he did cmf. But I think the act followed by herceptin is probably the norm.

If you look around the board at the various signatures, you will see both regimens listed. Like the abstracts show, the statistical significance between the two is minimal (if any real difference). We went with TCH because Jill wanted to minimize her heart risk.
