Brain surgery report!!!!
Hi,
I just received a report from my oncologist that the 3 1/2 cm tissue they removed contained no cancer tumor cells. It continues to be radiation necrosis. This is such a gift to me and music to my ears. Of course I am high on Decadron and on cloud 9 as well!!!
Best wishes,
Barbara H.

Y-e-s_s_s_s_s_s!
Dear Barbara -
Music to my ears too. That is such a great relief.
We got our wishes - no cancer in our brains. Now we just need to find a way for the necrosis to quit bedeviling us.
I hope your docs never think they have to go into your head again.
May the real meaning of Christmas be found in your good news.

Congratulations Barbara and StephN!!! What wonderful news for the holidays. I'm sorry you had to go through the surgery, but what a relief to learn it was only necrosis. May your healing be swift, and your new year happy.

Necrosis! Never has such a nasty-sounding word been so beautiful. We cancer survivors deserve a certificate in medical terminology. Have a happy, prosperous and healthy New Year.
