Nanc Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 6	Port Hi Vicki, I am a RN who works with central lines such as port a caths. In the facility I work at we do not use Ports for CTs , the reason is that the contrast is infused in to fast. The thought is that this is too much pressure on the internal part of the port. Again this is the reasoning where I work. Take Care Nancy
