Thanks you all for everything. If it were't for this group I would know liilt about the new therapies and clinical studies, not to mention everything else we need to know---and the comfort of being advisors and encouragers to each other.

I have spent the past two months getting scans, tests, ect. for the UofW tumor vaccine study. Now I have found that I do not qualify for #120 (1st recurrance, six months or less on Herceptin) because I've had TWO recurrances. Okay, so now I'm getting the ALA-A blood test to find out if I am HLA-A positive. If so, I quailify for that. As it stands, I have what they call "stable" disease. Now, if I am HLA-A negative, I can try to get in a study in a couple months. I have talked to both Patti and Dr. Webster and though I fit the criteria, I have to be put in the right catagory.

The biggest drawback to a couple months is that I will again have to have scans to prove that I still have stable disease, so if you will, PRAY for a positive outcome on the HLA_A blood test! I know, I have learned to be patient. LOL. That's why they call us "patients" right?
