A few members of this forum have reported good response to Xeloda+Herceptin plus a third chemo such as Vinorelbine or Taxotere.
I found 2 anecdotic case reports of good response with only Xeloda & Herceptin:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q...=pubmed_docsum
A paclitaxel-resistant case of recurrent breast cancer responded to combination therapy of capecitabine and trastuzumab
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q...=pubmed_docsum
Case report of advanced breast cancer responding to capecitabine and trastuzumab combination therapy
If the Xeloda+Herceptin combo is active in a good percentage of patients it might offer a treatment with generally moderate side effects & be used as a temporary alternative while waiting for Xeloda+Tykerb.
With this in mind has anyone taken the Xeloda+Herceptin combo, for what condition & with what results?
Anyone aware of past clinical trials of this combo?
