Following initial diagnosis she was put on Arimidex...evidently it did not work. She is now on Herceptin with Taxol and will take only Herceptin following this treatment. |

Hi Linda
40 years old, dx at 39, bone mets also. ER+ (50%) PR+ (10%) HER2/Neu+ (2+) - hoping Herceptin will still help! Pre-menopausal, but on Zoladex and having ovaries removed next month. Taking Arimidex and Bonefos (Bisphosphanate) Love Ally xx |
I have bone mets & a few small brain mets; my original breast cancer was DCIS (pre-invasive or so we thought!). The mets is ER/PR+ and HER2+ (about a 2.5 - borderline). I am in surgical menopause because I had a complete hysterectomy. I am 38 years old. Am taking arimidex, weekly herceptin & navelbine, and zometa for bone repair.
