I am very tired tonight as I am reading this. IF I am reading it correctly,
I can get over the guilt of not having my breast removed even when I had
good clean margins and two tiny specks, to have it go to my lungs with
6 tiny dots, a year late.

I have read that a mastectomy lowers your risk of a LOCAL recurrence at the site, but does nothing to prevent or lower the risk of mets to distant organs.
