Has anyone run across any scientific studies re: Brazilian keratin hair straightening and cancer risk?

Not likely that there would be any studies specific to Brazilian keratin products, because the carcinogen some products contain--formaldehyde--has been tested many times.

OSHA has labeling requirements for products that contain formaldehyde,
