T-DM1 new sites

This may be a dumb question, but it states you must have been treated with two HER2- biologic treatments. Does anyone know what the 2 treatments are? Is it Herceptin and Tykerb?

I just started this trial , however I was one of the 1/3 of the pts randomized NOT to get TDM1.

It took me almost 4 weeks to get on trial just to be back on regular chemo. My oncologist was very upset just bc she said she wishes I could catch a break.

The two previous targeted therapies are Herceptin and Tykerb.

I had 9 months of Herceptin. Stopped working. Took Herceptin and Tykerb 1500 a day, no reactions,not working, cancer in all sites doubling rapidly in size..PET scan and tumour markers confirm....What is next? How can I get into a trial

Emy,
Call Genetech and see what T DM1 trials might work for you. The Genetech number is in the thread about EAP for T DM1. Or you can go to www.clinicaltrials.gov (http://www.clinicaltrials.gov) and do a search for TDM1 trials.
Have you had a few different chemo and Herceptin combos? Have you had a Tykerb and chemo combo?
Talk to your doctor or get a second opinion about what is out there for you. Good luck.
