has this topic been discussed yet...just curious! Is this a root? The article sounds so interesting cell suicide...ok that works for me!! If anyone knows more on this topic please share your info. Would not take this while on chemo but sure would consider it later on. Also...it suppose to work on her2. thanks suzanne

ok just read up on its use along with various other findings...well maybe i would not want to take this herb after all.

Many people have different ideas about black cohosh. I have heard that the body treats it as estrogen, and of course if you are er+ the bc feeds on estrogen. It is supposed to help with the hot flashes, but I personally would rather deal with the hot flashes than feed the cancer...

hi maryann
after i continued to read on it, i realized that it increased estrogen! your right...that is not a good thing for er+.
