New Theme song for us..

I heard it today and was blown away...it's called "Tough" by Craig Morgan. If you go to Craigmorgan.com, you can hear the song and see some breast cancer surviors....it touched me...sherryg683

I agree...............

I just heard that song on the radio yesterday while my husband and I were driving. Yes, I agree..........it is a great song. The song made me kind of sad though.

I heard it on the radio one day going to work. Then a day later my daughter heard it too. She said the only time she ever hears it on the radio is when she's trying to drive and it makes her cry.

DD A/C x4 Taxotere x4 with Herceptin
Herceptin started 12 weekly then every 3 weeks.
Rads 36
Finished Herceptin May 24, 2006!
R 4mm lower lobe lung nodule -stable"watching"
R breast lymph node/nodule -stable "watching"
2-14-08 Left breast reduction mammoplasty/abdominoplasty
Now I have a new perky boob to match cancer boob!
Oh and a flat tummy. :>)

Sherry, Thanks so much for sharing that song. I really like it but I must admit it had the tears running down my face. It was written for my Mother. She has been through so much and never complained and just keeps going. She has been through so much in her life and then DX with stage IV lung cancer last year. I am going to play this song for my Mother. Hope I can hold back the tears when I do it.

Rt. MRM on 1-3-06 -- No Rads due to compromised lungs.
Chemo started 2-7-06 -- TCH - - Finished 6-12-06
Finished yr of wkly herceptin 3-19-07
3-15-07 Lt side prophylactic simple mastectomy. -- Ooph 4-05-07
9-21-09 PET/CT "Recurrence" to Rt. axllia, Rt. femur, ilium. Possible Sacrum & liver? Now stage IV.
9-28-09 Loading dose of Herceptin & started Zometa
9-29-09 Power Port Placement
10-24-09 Mass 6.4 x 4.7 cm on Rt. femur head.
11-19-09 RT. Femur surgery - Rod placed
12-7-09 Navelbine added to Herceptin/Zometa.
3-23-10 Ten days of rads to RT femur. Completed.
4-05-10 Quit Navelbine--Herceptin/Zometa alone.
5-4-10 Appt. with Dr. Slamon to see what is next? Waiting on FISH results from femur biopsy.
Results to FISH was unsuccessful--this happens less then 2% of the time.
7-7-10 Recurrence to RT axilla again. Back to UCLA for options.
