Hi All
I have posted here before and recieved great info, My sister, some may remember has brain mets (lung and skull well controlled with herceptin) which she recieved xeloda, and for a yr worked great. Prior to this she had WBR and gamma knife to 1 met which has not grown since. The past 2 months she has deteriorated siezures, loss of balance and nausea/vomiting, after scan onc says some growth but not dramatic but nothing else to offer. Is it possible to have gamma knife when so many symptoms, has anybody else had this treatent when it appears hopeless? woud appreciate any help
