Lisa had Good News

Just to let you all know, my wife, Lisa, a 14 year survivor received news today that she is once again NED after surgery for liver mets last October. Despite receiving the U of Washington vaccine Lisa recurred last January in her lung. Last year she had lung surgery in January, a stroke and gamma knife surgery in April and liver surgery in October.

She is currently on Xeloda and Herceptin and we are hopeful of staying NED for awhile.

Hope her story is some encouragement to those of you who need it.

Good Luck and God Bless!
Brian and Lisa

Talking Yeah!

Brian and Lisa, that is GREAT news, I'm so happy to hear it! Thanks for letting us know, and especially that Xeloda/Herceptin maintenance is doing such a good job. I have a friend who had lung mets that responded great to Xeloda/Herceptin, she is also NED now, and keeping fingers and toes crossed...will do the same for you

Brian
You must be sooo proud of each other and you are both someone we should emulate. We are all in awe of your tenacity and that will get you continued successes. Please also pass on our songs of praise to Lisa.

With love,
Al and Linda
