minor shortness of breath

Since a week I am experiencing a minor shortness of breath when I bend and getup or when I do some vigorous activity( I need to breath heavily for a minute). I am able to run on treadmill or walk without any problem. Is this a thing to be concerned?

thanks,
Julie

I NOTICED SHORTNESS OF BREATH DURING MY TAXOTERE TREATMENTS. MY PULSE RATE IS USUALLY SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 85 & 105. MY DOCTOR SAID IT WAS COMMON WITH CHEMO TREATMENTS. I AM FINISHED WITH TAXOTERE AND MY BREATHING IS BETTER, BUT I STILL HAVE TIMES OF BEING OUT OF BREATH. THE TREATMENTS JUST TAKE A TOLL ON OUR BODIES. WISHING YOU GOOD HEALTH ALWAYS. SHEILA

I became very SOB due to low hemoglobin during Taxol treatment. I was given Aranesp and the symptom disappeared. Please let your medical team know what you are experiencing. I called one of the onc nurses when it happened to me and they got me right in to see the doc.

With any symptom, it's always hard to believe it's non-cancerous. And usually it is. But sometimes it's not. There's no reason not to check it out
ASAP. Well wishes.

Love and light,

Lisa

Question Julie...

Julie, didn't you just say that you were having a severe cold? Maybe that is the deciding factor... Absolutely no harm in checking that out with your doc.

My onc told me to use the 2 week rule but you have to listen to your body. It is better to over react. I just hope it's just an effect of your cold.

Best wishes,
Helen
