Hey Lolly -
I work out with a group of women cancer survivors here in the Seattle area on Wed eves.
I am just trying to hold the line and return some of the fat to muscle. (Firm up, as they say.) And get some stamina back as I get short of breath easily after all the chemo I had.
There are several women in the group I have noticed over about a year's time who have done well with taking charge of their growing weight. They now look and feel better and get out and walk as well as do the indoor training. At the very least some have enchanged some fat for more muscle and built up some strength in their arms and torso, which seem to be the first to "go."
