Has anyone developed liver inflamation from Herceptin. My friend has been on herceptin for over three years and has developed liver inflamation. She developed high liver enzymes back in the winter when she was on just herceptin. Recently she has been dx'd with mets to her lung and the Onc tx was to be taxol/herceptin weekly. She just started tx and developed high enzymes again. The Onc took her off of all chemo and said that it would kill her. In the meantime he is treating her with rads again. She is most worried that with no chemo her disease will progress. Has anyone had this happen to them and how long had they been off of chemo?
