Happy Holidays and update

To all my her2 friends,
I am grateful for all the kind support and knowledge that we share. Banding together gives us more strength, knowledge, and spirit to fight!
I want to thank Christine and Joe for setting up and maintaining this wonderful site. This site changes lives and probably save some too. I have been going through a very rocky road now. I stopped Gemzar with did not control my illness and just gave me a lot of toxicity. I just started Herceptin/Taxatere/Carboplatin. But this site gave me and help with these tough decisions and the encouragement to go forward with the fight! Wishing you all happy holidays and joy in the new year! Lida

Happy Holidays, Lida!
You are brave and outstanding to keep up the tough battle. I look forward to hearing about the demise of those mean ol BC cells from the Herceptin, Taxotere, Carboplatin!!! Best wishes, ma

Red face

I am so grateful for this website and also breastcancer.org. My doctor has me scared to death and I feel better knowing that there are people out there that have survived and are doing quite well.

Lida, Im so sorry to hear about the Gemzar, but so hopeful that your new treatment does the trick. I will let you know about the dose of Doxil as soon as my Onc gets back to town (2 more weeks). Hang in there, take a deep breath and feel the love that surrounds you every second you're here. We love you, Vickie
