I am back!!!
Hi,
I just wanted to report that I am back from my surgery. All went well, and my surgeon said it still looks like necrosis. (radiaion effect) I will find out for sure when I see him next Friday. I am exhausted. I haven't slept in 4 days. The decadron is making me crazy. I do not tolerate it well. At least I have 2 weeks to rest, write report cards, celebrate the holidays, see friends, and get ready to be back at school. I will try to answer posts, when I can. Lisa has been in my thoughts.
Best wishes,
Barbara H.

Barbara, I am glad you have that behind you and things are sounding very encourging for you. This is perfect timing for good news so that you can relax and enjoy the Holidays.
Many of us sure understand all to well about the side affects of decadron. It is impossible to sleep on that stuff. It made me misrable.
You take care...hang in there, & have a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. Sending you warm healing thoughts and prayers.
Chelee

Barbara, Great news! Now perhaps you can relax a little (after the decadron wears off) and enjoy the Holidays. It's always refreshing to hear good news.

Glad it's looking good. I was getting tired reading about everything you're planning on doing while recovering. Sleep some too OK? Always nice to hear something good. BB

sounds good Barbara
meaning your news of necrosis, not the dumb decadron. I'm wishing you rest and peace during your holiday break. You amaze me!
