Proton Beam rads vs. electron beam rads

I was wondering if anyone here has ever had proton beam radiation instead of the usual electron radiation for breast cancer. Proton therapy is usually recommended for single tumors but there are cases where it has been used for multiple anatomical sites. It is mostly used for prostate cancer with barely any effect to the surrounding healthy tissue...
