I had my port removed earlier this year, but for the 3+ years it was in place the clinic billed approximately $100 for each flushing. Insurance paid about $40 on the claims for port flushing...

Based on this report it sounds like anyone who is about to start chemo and Herceptin and are ER+ should consider asking their oncoogist if they could be better off by starting the hormonal therapy...
