Infiltrating lobular carcinoma pleomorphic - inflamatory ???

Took herceptin & 8 courses of Taxotere. Now herceptin only. Diagnosed January 2003.

I am on a clinical trial involving herceptin and avastin(angiogenesis inhibitor). I had bilat. mast. in 1999 for dcis--dx with inflammatory in aug 03 as a recurrence. Just had my 1st scan after 8 weeks--good news!!
No spread rash on chest much improved and of the 2 lymph nodes involved in my neck 1 is normal and the other has been reduced in size by 40%!!
This is encouraging for all of us in terms of targeting the cancer cells with biologic agents. I am not sick have all my hair and am able to do my normal activities.
