My brother has passed

My brother Pierson passed away peacefully this morning at his home. We were all there by his side last night. I spent the night at his home last night because he had become increasingly weak and the hospice nurse said that she could not detect a noticeable pulse. He was a little incoherent but managed to look at me and say "I don't want any of this", when the hospice nurse was putting a catherer in him and putting him in a bed that they had brought in. He told her "go away and leave me alone". I feel terrible about letting her do it anyway but she said he could not urinate on his on and didnt want him to be in any pain. He unbelievably did not have hardly any pain with his cancer. His whole liver and body was eaten up with it and I think in the end he may have take a total of 4 loritabs...he never was in the pain that we expected...that was a blessing. Thank you all for your prayers, you don't know what a God send this board and you all are...sherryg683
