any hope of getting insurance companies to cover hylecta in view of covid19 pandemic?

utilizes. less hospital/clinic time, resources AND PERHAPS COULD BE GIVEN BY HOME HEALTH NURSES OR PCP office


thoughts?

Of course I cant say for sure but when I first read about the product insurance was the ist thing that went into my mind. I did a lot of work with Tobramycin dosage iv when I worked as a pharmacist at LA county hospital. If the renal function was fairly good the Tobra dosage interval every 8 hours IV. Now they are pushing a once a day IV dose (higher than the individual dose given q8h of course). This may be insurance pushed to save the money on IV bottles and time.

I certainly would check with the insurance company. I can see a time when the only Herceptin covered is the SC Herceptin with Hyalouronidase. Apparently the herceptin levels are fairly good. Worth a try.
